About This Plan

The ketogenic diet is a high fat, moderate protein, and low carb diet which puts the body into a metabolic state known as ketosis. It is great for those who want to lose weight or who want to live a ketogenic lifestyle for the many health benefits. Our Keto plan includes three meals per day that are 70% fat, 25% protein, and 5% net carbs. It is advised that you stick to the ketogenic diet 99% of the time, meaning minimal “cheating,” to enjoy the benefits of being in a state of ketosis. When your body is in a state of ketosis, the liver produces ketones which become the main energy source for the body. The ketogenic diet is also referred to as keto (pronounced key-toe) diet, low carb diet, and low carb high fat (LCHF).

 

Snacks

Our Keto Meal plans do NOT include snacks because many Keto-eaters do not eat snacks nor feel the need to snack (part of the beauty of ketosis!), but you may add your own, especially as you transition into ketosis, if you feel the need. Just remember, snacks should be mostly fat with some protein and no carbs.

 

Recurring vs One-time Orders

In addition to selecting a size below, you will also be choosing if this is a one-time order or if you prefer a recurring order. If you select recurring (buttons in the left column), we will automatically cook for you each week and bill you every Monday for the following Sunday's meals. You will get a reminder to edit your cart (if you want) or skip each week, and there is absolutely no contract. If you ever don't edit your cart, you will still get meals! If you choose one-time instead (buttons in the right column), you will receive text reminders each Sunday & Monday to order again, but you will have to take action. If you do not place an order by Monday night, you will not have meals the following Sunday.
